Relation between the Animatrix and Matrix

The Animatrix contains animations that are related with the movies and videogames of Matrix. One of the animations is called “The Final flight of Osiris”, which relate the death of the tripulation of the Osiris ship. This animation starts with a fight in the Matrix between a woman and a man (a very weird and “friendly” fight), then a great amount of centinelas follow them in order to destroy them because the centinelas are planning an attack to Zion (where the humans are sheltering) and the tripulation wants to prevent them. The woman enters the Matrix and leaves a message of prevention (videotape) in the mailbox. Finally Osiris is destroyed and everyone dies.
This message (videotape) is taken by Niobe and Ghost in the videogame “Enter the Matrix” and latter (in the movie Matrix Reloaded) is told to the survivors of Zion. So this video is very important, and has a history tainted by blood.
All these new medias (animatrix, videogames and movies) create a fascination around the story, making more interesting the development of events. A good way of attracting more audience!!

The article talks about Pixar adventures and obstacles that has defeat, such as the difficulties that Catmull pass when he was trying to transform his graphics division into an MRI scan compositing company, “his ambition almost put him out of a job”, but he was rewarded with many important developments, such as: texture mapping, Z-BUFFER and the Catmull-Rom spline (algorithm for creating curves).With this examples we realize the importance of evolution in the industry; aspect that Pixar had work.
Pixar is one of the companies that does not conform. Just as Lasseter and Catmull said to Bird when they hired him: "The only thing we're afraid of is getting complacent. We need to bring in outside people so we keep throwing ourselves off balance". This company is always looking for more, and their work has been paid with success.
It also talk about Pixar works: Toy Story, The incredibles (Bird), Finding Nemo and Disney productions such as Shrek, Antz and Bugs. They emphasize the contrast between story´s, and they clearly tell us, that Pixar can not be compare with Disney.
Pixar story is sui generis. "What Pixar is so great at is developing wholly original ideas and it's not just the idea - it's the story, beat by beat, and the characters and relationships. That's the real hard part”. And I totally agree with them, the story´s of Pixar make us think, make us love the characters, and make us feel what they are feeling; this create empathy, which is the primarily aspect for making the audience happy.
Pixar´s movements inspire us to follow their steps. To evolve, not conform; to create, to defeat obstacles and to be always the best.

François Truffaut

François Truffaut was a very important French filmmaker, producer, actor and one of the founders of the French New Wave.

The New Wave or La Nouvelle Vague was created in the 50s-60s. This association was never a formalized movement.

The most important pioneers among the group were: François Truffaut, Jean-Luc Godard, Éric Rohmer, Claude Chabrol, and Jacques Rivette. Andre Bazin was the co-founder and theorist who brought a great influence to the movement.

The New Wave filmmakers:

-had a desperate fight against the typical cinema of the time.

-were linked by their self-conscious

-had rejection of classical cinematic form

-had a spirit of youthful iconoclasm

-were engaged in their work with the social and political upheavals of the era, making their radical experiments with editing, visual style, and narrative part of a general break with the conservative paradigm.

-attack on the viewer's naivete.

The movement has its origin in rebellion against the reliance on past forms (novellic structures), criticizing in particular the way these forms could force the audience to submit to a authoritarian sequence.

Some characteristics and unprecedented methods:

-seven-minute tracking shots

-movies featured existential themes ( ex. Stressing the individual and absurdity of human existence)

-films produced with tight budgets (shot in a friend's apartment, using the director's friends as the cast and crew)

-Directors were forced to improvise with equipment (ex. using a shopping cart for tracking shots).

-fresh look to cinema (improvised dialogue, rapid changes of scene, and shots that go beyond the common 360º axis).

The challenging awareness represented by this movement remains in cinema today. That is why François Truffat is still a huge icon of cinema, not only because he produced good movies, but he and his fellows created a new way of seeing movies

Favorite Character of Romeo and Juliet

My favorite character of the amazing story of Romeo and Juliet is without a doubt: Juliet.
I think her love for Romeo was genuine, even she was still a girl. Probably she knew a lot of cute boys and she also knew Paris; Juliet could have chosen to marry any of those, but the only person who made her feel entirely happy was Romeo.
She demonstrated courage, passion and conviction, despite of many of the obstacles that were against their awsome love.

I really like this story. I like very much the verse structure, and many of the thoughts that are expressed in Romeo and Juliets words.
In general all the work of Shakeaspear is great. I have read "La fierecilla domada", "King Lear", "Macbeth".

Robert Deniro

My favorite actor is Robert Deniro. I love many of his movies, such as: Frankinstein, The God Father, Men of Honor, Great Expectations etc.

He si not only an actor, he is a great producer, and a director. Some of his movies are:

Although he is getting older, he still acts in a very profesional and amazing way; just as his first movie. Now Deniro has 66 years old.
